Nursing Home Care
Parkside is Hutcheson Medical Center's 109 bed nursing home located on the medical center campas. National Health Care Center and Ft. Oglethorpe Nursing Home also provides intermediate and skilled care to nursing home patients.
Home Health Care
The hospital-based Hutcheson Home Health Care; and North Georgia Home Health, allows many patients to leave the hospital earlier and receive their follow-up treatment at home. For the patient whose illness is irreversible, Hutcheson Hospice also offers comfort and assistance to the patient and family.
Psychiatric & Chemical Dependency Services
Greenleaf Services provides assistance to area adults, adolescents and children in matters of emotional health and chemical dependency on an in-patient and/or out-patient basis. Vista Community Programs, part of Northwest Georgia Mental Health provides similar services. Additionally, Northwest Georgia Treatment Center provides assistance to those recovering from substance abuse and chemical dependency.
